I used to wear sleep deprivation like a badge of honor.

You know the vibe:

☕ “I only slept 4 hours.”

🧠 “Running on fumes but still crushing deadlines.”

🎯 “Sleep? That’s what weekends are for.”

Back-to-back tasks.

Endless to-do lists.

And caffeine—always caffeine.

I thought I was winning at productivity.

But my body? My brain? They weren’t clapping.

They were crashing.

And then it hit me…

What if rest is the real flex?

Not how little you sleep, but how well you recover.

Not how long you grind, but how wisely you pause.

I’ve learned (the hard way) that sleep isn’t a luxury—it’s a leadership skill.

It fuels clarity, compassion, creativity—the very things we need to thrive.

So now, I’m flipping the script.

💤 Sleep isn’t what I “squeeze in”—it’s what I build around.

😴 Rest isn’t a reward—it’s a right.

🌙 And no, I don’t feel guilty about going to bed at 10 anymore.

To anyone who’s ever felt like rest = weakness, I’m here to say:

Rest is radical.

Rest is wise.

And honestly? Rest gets stuff done.

What if your power move this week… is 8 hours of sleep?
